Another classic cocktail making it’s comeback is the Ramos Gin Fizz which originated in New Orleans in the 1880’s. This cocktail’s unique blend of citrus coupled with an egg froth give it a special place in the cocktail books.
Like many drinks this one will take some doing. A dry shake method will be used for the egg froth before adding all the cocktails together practice your dry shake.
2 fluid ounces gin
2 fluid ounces cold half-and-half
1/2 fluid ounce lemon juice
1/2 fluid ounce lime juice
2 teaspoons white sugar
1 egg white
3 dashes orange flower water
1 dash vanilla extract (optional)
1 fluid ounce cold club soda, or as needed
